You cannot drive or walk in. You reach it by boat, and only when the sea is calm enough to land.
Why the access is the reason it looks like that
That boat-only access is exactly why the north coast stays wild. Skiathos has more than sixty beaches and most of them are sandy, pine-backed and reachable; this one is none of those things, and the difficulty is what has preserved it.
So treat a Lalaria landing as something you might get rather than something you have booked. If the sea is up, the boat does not land, and no operator can promise otherwise.
The opposite end of the island, in every sense
Skiathos’s two landmark beaches sit at opposite ends of the experience:

The real choice on this island is not which beach but which coast. The Skiathos beaches guide sorts them that way.
Leave the pebbles
Local custom, and good sense, is to leave the famous pebbles where they are rather than carry them home. They are the beach. A beach that everyone takes a handful of stops being one.
What a visit actually looks like
A stop on a boat trip rather than a day out. Boats work this coast in season, the landing is short, and the caves along the shore are usually part of the same run.
We name no operator and print no fare or schedule - ask at the harbour, and ask about the sea on the day rather than the week before.
Practical notes
Getting to the island: by air or from the central mainland only. Skiathos Airport (JSI), or ferries from Volos (about 1h 10m, nearest and quickest), Agios Konstantinos (about 2h 05m), Mantoudi on Evia (about 40m), or Thessaloniki (about 3h 10m, high summer only).
Onward: Skopelos about 25m and Alonissos about 50m, which is what makes the Sporades route work as a trip of its own.
No facilities. This is an unserviced beach on a wild coast reached by boat. Carry what you need for the length of the stop.
Common questions
Can you walk to Lalaria? No. Boat only, and only in calm seas.
Will the boat definitely land? No, and any page that says otherwise has not been to this coast. It depends on the sea that day.
Can I take a pebble? Local custom says leave them, and it is the right call.
