Greece Trips exists to answer the questions a Greece trip actually turns on. Not “the top ten islands”, but which island suits the trip you are taking, when to go given what you want to do, and how the ferries really work.
What this site is
It is a planning companion, organised the way a trip is planned. There are no dated posts and no blog, which is a deliberate choice rather than a gap. Each page owns one real decision and ends in a recommendation, because a page that will not choose is a page that wasted your time. Where two options genuinely suit different people, we say which is which rather than hedging.
The whole site is built around the idea that logistics are the trip. In Greece the ferry timetable decides more about your holiday than any list of sights, so we treat it as the main subject rather than an afterthought.
What we will not do
- No affiliate links, and no sponsored placements. Nothing on this site is recommended because it pays us. There is no commercial relationship with any hotel, restaurant, operator or booking site.
- No invented numbers. If we cannot source a price, a duration or an opening time, we tell you what governs it instead of inventing a figure that sounds precise.
- No safety certifications. We will tell you a beach is exposed to the wind, or that a path is steep. We will not tell you that anything is safe. We are not a safety authority.
- No tracking. We run no analytics and no advertising. See our privacy policy, which is short because there is very little to say.
How we check what we publish
Every fact that can go stale, which on a travel site is most of them, is checked against a primary source: the operator, the port authority, the ministry, the official ticket office. Where sources disagree, we say so rather than picking the tidier answer. Our editorial policy sets out exactly how that works and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
