Our guides are here to help you plan. They are not professional, legal, medical or safety advice. Nothing here is a substitute for the official source: the ferry operator, the airline, the ministry, the border authority, or your own government. Where we point you at an official source, that source wins over anything we have written.
Travel facts change, and some of ours will be out of date
We check every stale-able fact against a primary source and we date those checks, but timetables, prices, opening hours and entry rules change without warning. Confirm anything your trip depends on - a sailing, a flight, a ticket, an entry requirement - directly with the operator or authority before you rely on it. We are not liable for a decision made on a fact that changed after we checked it, though we would very much like you to tell us when one has.
We do not certify safety
We describe conditions. We do not certify that any beach, road, path, activity or place is safe, and you should not read us as doing so. Assessing risk on the ground is yours, and where an official body has restricted access somewhere, follow the official body.
